Green Beans With Honey and Almonds image

I got this recipe from a magazine, and use it all the time. It's so quick, easy, and flavorful. Even my kids eat fresh green beans when I cook them like this.

1 lb fresh green beans
1/2 cup sliced almonds
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 teaspoon honey

Steps:

  • Clean green beans and remove ends.
  • Steam until crispy-tender--about 8-10 minutes.
  • Mix together vegetable oil and honey.
  • Toss green beans until coated with honey mixture and almonds.
