I like this as a side dish when we have grilled steak or a marinated flank steak. The balsamic and Parmesan touch really adds a lot of flavor.

Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 450°F/230°C.
- 2. Put beans, mushrooms and onion into a large zip-lock bag (or a large mixing bowl).
- 3. Whisk together the olive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper. Pour the dressing over the vegetables and shake bag until vegetables are well coated.
- 4. Arrange vegetables on a large baking sheet, spreading them out so beans and mushrooms aren't too crowded. Roast in oven for 20 to 30 minutes or until beans are tender-crisp and all liquid from the mushrooms has evaporated. Sprinkle chopped basil and grated Parmesan cheese on top, and serve immediately.
