Each year before it freeze's. she goes out and picks all the green tomatoes left on the vines, and slices them up and makes several green tomato pies, and freezes them,she all year long she can enjoy green tomato pie with a scoop of creamy vanilla ice...

Steps:
- 1. pre-heat oven to 425* make crust for a 9" pie. (makes two pie crusts, one for the top and bottom layer ) Place one pie crust into bottom of a 9" pan, bake in oven for 15 min. Reduce oven to *350
- 2. Mix all ingredients together in a large bowel then pour into the 9" pie pan,(already baked for 15 min at 425*) place the last pie crust (uncooked) on top of the pie filling, place in oven for 45 mins. at 350*
- 3. let cool and serve warm with a scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream and enjoy!
