1 cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped carrot
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup Guinness stout
2/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup tomato paste
1 tablespoon dried dill
1 can beef broth
pepper
2 whole cloves
3 lbs beef brisket

Steps:

  • put all ingredients into crockpot.
  • cook on high 8 hours.
  • cut brisket across the grain, serve.
  • enjoy.
