Hash Brown Casserole image

This is my version and I think its better than Cracker Barrels, judge for yourself.

Number Of Ingredients 7

2 lb hash browns potatoes
2 c cheddar cheese
2 can(s) cream of chicken soup
1 c sour cream
1 onion, chopped
1/2 stick butter
salt and pepper

Steps:

  • 1. Saute the chopped onion with the butter over medium heat until soft, remove from heat and mix all ingredients together.Place in a casserole dish or a 9x13 pan, that has been buttered. Bake at 350 until hot and bubbly, about 45 minutes to an hour. Let set for 10 minutes then enjoy.
