6 medium baking apples
1 1/2 Tbsp melted butter
1/4 c honey
3/4 c nut-like cereal (like grape-nuts)
1/4 c raisins

Steps:

  • 1. Wash and core apples. Peel top half horizontally around each apple, about an inch from the top, to allow steam to escape.
  • 2. Place in a baking dish lined with aluminum foil. Bake at 400° for 40 minutes.
  • 3. Combine butter, honey, cereal, and raisins. Fill apples with mixture and bake for 10 additional minutes.
