Hot Fudge Sundae Cake image

This is one pan dessert that makes its own sauce. Yum

2 c flour
1 1/2 c sugar
4 Tbsp cocoa
4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 c milk
4 Tbsp canola oil
2 tsp vanilla
2 c chopped walnuts
2 c brown sugar
1/2 c cocoa
3 1/2 c hot water

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven 350 degrees. Grease a 9x13 pan and stir together the flour, sugar, 4 tbsp cocoa baking powder and salt. Mix in milk oil, and vanilla with a fork until smooth. Stir in nuts.
  • 2. Spread evenly in the pan. Sprinkle the top with brown sugar and the 1/2 cup of cocoa. Pour the hot water over all and bake for 45 minutes.
  • 3. Spoon in dishes and spoon chocolate sauce over top. Top with ice cream or whip cream if desired.
