Time 30m

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 stick butter (no substitute)
4 Tbsp brown sugar
2 Tbsp yellow mustard
2 Tbsp worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp poppy seeds
1 pkg sara lee classic brown and serve rolls
12 slice deli ham (regular slices)
12 slice baby swiss cheese

Steps:

  • 1. Sauce: butter, brown sugar, yellow mustard, worcestershire sauce, and poppy seeds. Heat all of these ingredients in saucepan on stove until warm and dissolved.
  • 2. Slice the rolls in half. Pile ham and cheese on rolls and then put the tops back on them. Place the rolls in a 9 x 13" pan. Pour warm sauce over the top of the prepared sandwiches. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes! Yields 12 dinner roll size sandwiches but you should probably allow at least 2 per person. These are quite tasty!!

These sandwiches are a bit too heavy for my taste. I prefer something lighter.
