This was a recent recipe posted in the local paper. I just had to give it a shot, and am very pleased that I did. Now I want to share it with you...

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 oranges, juice of
2 oranges, peel of cut into pieces
1 cup water
1 cup sugar (or less)
4 cups cold coffee, made with 6 teaspoons instant coffee
1/2 cup whipping cream

Steps:

  • Place the orange peel,water and sugar in a saucepan.
  • Boil for 5 minutes.
  • Remove the peel and let the syrup cool.
  • Mix the orange juice with the coffee and syrup.
  • Add the whipping cream.
  • Pour over crushed ice in tall glasses.
