Jessie's Long Island Cocktail image

I have googled ingredients to find a "real" name for this cocktail and came up with nothing, but it falls nothing short of AMAZING! --*--You can use any flavor fruity schnapps you prefer, peach and watermelon are my favorites! Cherry is pretty awesome too! To make a larger amount, keep liquor quantities equal (pint, fifth, 1/2 gal, even purchase a 1/2 gal. premix long island and add a fifth of schnapps for flavoring)--*--

Yield 1 cocktail, 1 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 ounce vodka
1 ounce rum (light)
1 ounce tequila (silver)
1 ounce gin
1 ounce triple sec
1 -2 ounce sour mix
3 ounces Sprite

Steps:

  • Mix liquors together first in a shaker, or large ice filled glass, or a pitcher.
  • Then add sour mix and 7-up/Sprite to taste.
  • I like sour mix so I add more than most people.
  • Can garnish with fruit, but not necessary.
  • Drink responsibly :) Enjoy!

I love that this cocktail can be made with or without alcohol. The virgin version is just as delicious as the alcoholic version.

I'm not usually a fan of Long Island Iced Teas, but this one is really good. The Jessie's Long Island Cocktail is much more refreshing and flavorful than the traditional version.

I love the combination of flavors in this cocktail. The citrusy flavors of the lemon and lime juice are perfectly balanced by the sweetness of the simple syrup and the tanginess of the cranberry juice.
