Steps:
- Mix popped corn and nuts of choice in a large bowl.
- Combine sugar, butter, and syrup in a 2 quart sauce pan.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally 10 to 15 minutes or until mixture turns a light caramel color (soft ball stage).
- Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla.
- Pour over popped corn and nuts. Mix to coat well.
- Spread out on a buttered cookie sheet to dry, then break apart into small bite size pieces and enjoy!
- Makes about 2 pounds.
