Low-Fat Butterscotch Oatmeal Pecan Cookies image

Wow these are good for being low-fat! Sometimes to make them even healthier, I replace half the flour with whole wheat flour, and I use 1/4 cup honey to replace half of the light corn syrup. These do not spread out at all. They are wonderful things to pop in your mouth when you want something sweet. This is a variation from Tribole's "Healthy Desserts"

I'm not sure what went wrong, but these cookies turned out really flat and crumbly. I followed the recipe exactly, so I'm not sure what happened.

These cookies were a bit too sweet for my taste. I think I'll try reducing the amount of sugar next time.

I tried this recipe and the cookies turned out a bit dry. I think I might have overbaked them. But the flavor was still good.
