Makeover Overnight Yeast Waffles image

The revamped waffles have nearly 60% less fat and about 33% fewer calories. The two eggs called for in the original recipe were retained, but the whites were separated from the yolks. The yolks were added to the batter before it was refrigerated overnight. The egg whites were beaten and folded in the next day to help keep the fluffy interior and crispy exterior of these waffles.-Mary Balcomb, Florence, Oregon

I followed the recipe exactly and my waffles turned out terrible. They were flat and dense. I'm not sure what went wrong.

Not bad! I've had better waffles, but these were still good. They were a little dense for my taste, but the flavor was good.

These waffles were amazing! I've never had overnight yeast waffles before, but they were so light and fluffy. The flavor was also perfect - not too sweet, but still satisfying. I will definitely be making these again.
