Provided by á-49485

Number Of Ingredients 9

4 medium avocados, peeled, pitted and cubed
1 (3-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (16-ounce) container sour cream
1 (10-ounce) can diced tomatoes with green chilies (like Ro*Tel)
1 tablespoon garlic powder
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon lemon juice (I use a bit more)
1 (4-ounce) can diced green chilies (optional)
tortilla chips

Steps:

  • In a medium bowl, mash avocados and cream cheese together. Combine sour cream, tomatoes, garlic powder, salt, lemon juice, and green chilies, and mix well until smooth. Can also be made in a food processor or blender. Just dump in all ingredients and blend or process until smooth. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow flavors to blend. Serve with tortilla chips for dipping.

This sauce is too spicy for me. I could barely eat it.

I'm not a huge fan of tomatillos, but this sauce was surprisingly good. It's got a nice balance of flavors, and it's not too spicy. I'd definitely make it again.

This sauce is a great way to use up leftover tomatillos. It's also really easy to make, and it can be used as a dipping sauce, a marinade, or a salad dressing. I especially like it on fish tacos.

Meh. I thought this sauce was just okay. It wasn't as flavorful as I was hoping for, and it had a bit of a strange aftertaste. I wouldn't make it again.

This green sauce is a winner! It's so flavorful and versatile. I used it on tacos, enchiladas, and burritos, and it was delicious every time. I also love that it's made with simple, fresh ingredients. I'll definitely be making this again and again.
