Mandarin Orange Peanut Salad image

Prepared for November, 2012, meeting by Diane Herlache.

Number Of Ingredients 11

romaine or iceberg lettuce, torn in bite size pieces
1 can(s) mandarin orange sections
8 oz can salted cocktail peanuts
DRESSING
1/3 c sugar
1 tsp dry mustard
1 tsp celery seed
1 tsp salt
1 Tbsp minced onion
1/4 c vinegar
1 c wesson oil

Steps:

  • 1. Combine dressing ingredients in blender. Combine lettuce, drained Mandarin oranges and peanuts. Just before serving, pour dressing over and toss. Use 1 2/3 cups of dressing.
