Martha Stewart's Caesar Salad image

I saw Martha make this on an episode a few days ago and I thought it would be a great salad for a casual dinner party. I mean, who doesn't like Caesar salad? If you make this tableside it's very impressive. If you prefer not to use the raw egg yolk in this recipe, substitute one tablespoon of store-bought mayonnaise. The croutons are best made as close to serving time as possible.

This recipe is a bit too rich for my taste. I'll probably use less Parmesan cheese next time.

I'm not a fan of raw eggs, so I used a store-bought Caesar dressing instead. It was still delicious.

I'm allergic to anchovies, so I used Worcestershire sauce instead. It worked great!

This salad is a great make-ahead meal. I like to make it the night before and then just add the dressing when I'm ready to serve.

I'm glad I found this recipe. It's a great way to use up leftover chicken or steak.

I followed the recipe exactly, but my salad didn't turn out as good as I expected. The dressing was too oily, and the croutons were too hard.

I'm not a big fan of Caesar salad, but I have to admit that this recipe is pretty good. The dressing is creamy and flavorful, and the croutons add a nice crunch.
