This a recipe for hamburger stroganoff that Mom made all the time. We grew up on it and it's a family favorite.

Steps:
- 1. Start to cook egg noodles and while they're cooking, you can begin to prepare the stroganoff. Saute onion and garlic in butter over medium heat. Stir in ground beef and brown. Drain lightly.
- 2. Stir in flour, salt, pepper, and mushrooms. Cook 5 minutes. Stir in soup. Simmer uncovered 10 minutes.
- 3. Stir in sour cream. Heat through. Serve over cooked egg noodles.
