1 paper bag
4 quarts popped popcorn
1 stick of butter or margarine
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup Dark Karo Syrup

Bring mixture to a boil in the microwave and allow it to boil for one minute, then remove and stir. Microwave mixture for one additional minute. Add baking soda and stir until frothy. Pour mixture over popcorn. Close the paper bag and shake well. Microwave the popcorn for 2-3 minutes, removing every 30 seconds to shake and cool the caramel corn so it doesn't burn.
