minestrone casserole image

Prefect for a cold winter day, with some crusty bread and a nice green salad.

Number Of Ingredients 11

1 pound ground beef
one medium onion, chopped
one clove garlic, minced
one package hamburger helper for lasagna mix 7.25 ounces
one can corn, 16 ounces
one can whole tomatoes, 16 ounces
1 cup sliced celery
1 cup water
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon mixed italian herbs
grated parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • 1. brown ground beef in large skillet. Drain off fat. Sauté onion and garlic three minutes or until soft. Add Main dish mix for lasagna, corn, and tomatoes with liquid, celery, water, salt, and Italian herbs, crumbled.
  • 2. Bring to boil. Pour into a 12 cup casserole. Cover casserole. Bake at 400 for 30 minutes or until bubbly hot. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over top of casserole just before serving. Serves six
