No Bake Oatmeal Cookies image

1/2 cup margarine
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup milk
1 dash salt
3 cups quick oats
3 tablespoons cocoa
1 cup nuts, chopped
1 teaspoon vanilla

Steps:

  • Combine butter, sugar, milk, and salt in pan.
  • Bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute.
  • Put oats, cocoa, nuts, and vanilla in bowl.
  • Pour butter mixture over dry mixture.
  • Mix well and drop onto waxed paper.
