- 1. Preheat oven to 350^. Grease or spray a 9 or 10- inch tube pan(angel food pan). Streusel: In a medium bowl, mix together all ingredients. Stir to combine to make crumbly. Set aside.
- 2. Cake: In a large bow, using electric mixer on medium speed, beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Beat in zest and extract. On low speed add one cup of flour. In the second cup of flour add the baking powder and baking soda and stir together a little; then add orange juice and flour alternately,ending with flour.
- 3. Spoon 1/2 the batter into the prepared pan. Sprinkle with 1/2 the streusel. Top with remaining batter and streusel. Bake about 30 to 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean Transfer pan to wire rack to cool completely. Turn cake out onto a serving plate, placing it right-side up. Drizzle with-- Glaze: 1/2 cup powdered sugar 2 1/2 teaspoons orange juice Mix together until smooth.
- 4. For Cake Mix: Blend cake mix,melted butter,orange juice and eggs in a large bowl until moistened. Add remaining ingredients and beat at medium speed for 2 minutes. Follow directions in STEP 3 to assemble cake and bake the same.
