Oatmeal Delights image

I can't get Irish oatmeal here, so I use Quaker, these are easy to make, no-cook and semi-healthy! A favorite with my kids. (alcohol free of course!)If you don't like walnuts, you can roll in melted chocolate or pretty much your topping of choice. Number Of Ingredients 8

1 1/2 c oatmeal flakes
1/2 c sugar
6-7 Tbsp butter, softened
2-3 Tbsp cocoa powder
1 dash(es) vanilla
1-2 Tbsp nescafe coffee (make a coffee, let it cool!)
1-2 c walnut pieces, finely chopped
1 Tbsp irish whiskey (optional)

Steps:

  • 1. Mix all the ingredients together, except for walnuts. Shape into balls, roll in walnuts, or melted chocolate, or cocoa or whatever you fancy! Chill for about an hour, then eat!!
