Steps:
- 1. Sift the flour, soda, and salt (set aside)
- 2. Cream the butter, gradually add the sugar, beat until fluffy
- 3. Beat in the egg, stir in the mincemeat
- 4. Gradually add the flour mixture, blending well
- 5. Stir in the oats
- 6. Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart (they spread)
- 7. Bake until lightly browned, 350 F, 15 minutes
