Old Fashion Buttermilk Pie image

If you're looking for an OLD FASHION, sigh only because it was so good & so Rich tasting that it could almost be a sin, then this just might be it. Let it Cool & then Chill Completely before cuting. Sit back hear the WOW's & see their faces in the pure pleasure Grandpa felt.

Number Of Ingredients 9

6 large eggs
3 1/2 c sugar (regular type)
1/2 c all purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1 c buttermilk
1 c butter (melted)
2 Tbsp pure vanilla extract
2 9" pie crusts - unbaked

Steps:

  • 1. Pre- Heat oven 350 Mix all ingredients together. Pour into pie crusts. Bake 1 (one) hour or until pies are nearly firm almost to the center. Cool completely then Chill well before serving. Yeilds "2" pies / Do Not Freeze
