My mom got this recipe from a microwave cooking cookbook back in the '70s. This was one of my favorites as a kid. I make it for my kids and they love it just as much as I did/do!

Steps:
- 1. Crumble ground beef in 2 quart glass casserole and stir in onion.
- 2. Cover with glass lid or plastic wrap. Microwave on high for 3 minutes.
- 3. Drain and stir in remaining ingredients. Recover.
- 4. Microwave on defrost for 30-35 minutes or until macaroni is tender. Let stand covered for 5 minutes before serving.
- 5. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese, if desired, and enjoy!
