Outrageous Chocolate Cookies or Bars image

These delicious bars are a family recipe. They are a great combination of chocolate and peanut butter - and the best part is, they use ingredients you usually have on hand. Whenever we take them to parties, they vanish in a flash. To make cookies, drop the dough 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes at same temperature.

I'm not a huge fan of chocolate, but I actually really enjoyed these bars. They're not too sweet and the chocolate flavor isn't overpowering.

The only thing I would change about this recipe is to add a little bit of salt. I think it would help to balance out the sweetness.
