Oven Lovin' Barbecued Ribs! image

This is everyone's favorite that I make. Oddly enough, it is also the easiest to prepare! The barbecue sauce is what makes this dish so memorable. My in-laws line up at the door when they know I am making this!

Provided by ChipotleChick

Categories     Pork

Time 2h5m

Yield 4-5 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 4

3 -4 lbs country-style boneless pork ribs
1 teaspoon salt
1 (455 ml) bottle barbecue sauce (the secret to my success is the barbecue sauce that I use. It is made by a certain Tennessee Whiskey)
water

Steps:

  • Bring water to a boil.
  • Add ribs, one by one; add salt.
  • Boil for about 1 hour, making sure the pot doesn't froth over too much! (When I do that, the next time I turn on my stove it smokes and it is stinky!)
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Remove ribs from water.
  • Place ribs in a 9 by 4 inch glass baking pan.
  • Pour the barbecue sauce evenly over the ribs.
  • Bake for 20 to 30 minutes.

I'm not sure if I did something wrong, but my ribs didn't turn out as tender as I hoped. I'll try cooking them for a longer amount of time next time.

I had some trouble finding pork ribs at my local grocery store, but I was able to find them at a specialty butcher shop.

The ribs were a little dry for my liking, but the flavor was still good. I'll try cooking them for a shorter amount of time next time.

These ribs are a bit spicy for my taste, but I still enjoyed them. Next time I'll use less chili powder.

I made a few substitutions to the recipe (I used honey instead of brown sugar and I added some garlic powder) and the ribs still turned out great.

I'm not a big fan of ribs, but I tried these and I was really surprised at how much I liked them. The meat was so tender and juicy, and the sauce was perfect.

I've tried many different recipes for barbecued ribs, but this one is by far the best. The ribs were cooked perfectly and the sauce was amazing.

These ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender and had a delicious smoky flavor. I'll definitely be making them again!
