Parmesan Sage Pork Chops image

I have not yet made this, but it sounds yummy so I'm sharing before I make it. I bought ingredients to make but as of today I need to eat the stuff I made 2 days ago first. LOL

Number Of Ingredients 9

1-1/2 c bread crumbs
1 c parmesan cheese
1 Tbsp dried rubbed sage
1 tsp lemon zest, grated
2 large eggs, whisked
1/4 c flour, seasoned with salt, pepper to taste
4 c pork chops (1 inch thick)
1/4 c butter
2 Tbsp olive oil

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Mix bread crumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, dried rubbed sage and grated lemon peel in a bowl.
  • 2. On a plate put flour seasoned with salt & pepper. Coat chops with flour. Dip in egg. Then dip in bread crumb mixture.
  • 3. Melt butter & Olive Oil in an oven-proof skillet. Brown chops until golden. Transfer to oven and bake until meat thermometer registers 150 degrees F. About 20 min. or so.
