1 lb ground beef
1 lg yellow or sweet onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
2 gloves finely chopped garlic
1 can crushed or diced stewed tomatoes
1 small can tomato sauce
2 cans hot chili beans
1T chili powder
1T flour
1t ground cumin
1 C. water
1T olive oil

Steps:

  • Saute in oil ground beef, onion, green pepper, and garlic. Add remaining ingredients and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer 30 mins. Serve with shredded cheddar cheese, finely chopped sweet onions, and oyster crackers,
