Peacock Tonic image

The usual gin and tonic gets brushed by a peacock's teal plume thanks to blue Curacao, a bitter-orange liqueur, and green Chartreuse, a French herbal liqueur.

I'm not sure what I did wrong, but my peacock tonic turned out really bland. I followed the recipe exactly, but it just didn't have much flavor. Maybe I'll try using a different brand of wormwood next time.

I'm not sure I'm using the right kind of wormwood. My peacock tonic turned out very bitter and almost undrinkable. :(

This recipe is a bit misleading. It says it makes 4 servings, but I only got 2 cups of tea out of it. I guess I'll have to double the recipe next time.

Not a fan of this peacock tonic recipe. The bitterness was too overwhelming for me. I think next time I'll try using less wormwood.

I've tried a few different peacock tonic recipes, and this one is by far the best. It's simple to make and the flavor is out of this world. I especially love the addition of the ginger.

I've never had peacock tonic before, so I was a bit hesitant to try it. But I'm so glad I did! The taste is very unique and flavorful. It's definitely an acquired taste, but I really enjoy the bitterness. I feel very energized after drinking it.
