Pepperoni Ziti Casserole image

I adapted this recipe for my crock-pot. Having 2 devout carnivores and 1 devout vegetarian in the house, it pleased both. I have a smaller crockpot that I use for my vegetarian crockpot and I added meat last.

I'm not a big fan of cheese, so I used less cheese than the recipe called for. It was still really good, and it was a lot lighter than the traditional version.

This casserole is a great way to use up leftover pasta. I usually have some leftover ziti or penne pasta after I make a pasta dish, and this casserole is a great way to use it up.

I love this recipe because it's so versatile. I can use whatever pasta I have on hand, and I can also add different vegetables or meats to the casserole.

I used a jar of Alfredo sauce instead of the homemade sauce. It was still really good, but I think the homemade sauce would have been even better.

I'm not a big fan of ziti, so I used penne pasta instead. It turned out great! The casserole was still cheesy and flavorful, but the penne pasta made it a little more substantial.
