Phyllo (Filo, Fillo) Sausage Cups image

Years ago someone at work served these at a holiday function and the appetizer is requested to make a presence each season. These go fast so be sure to make plenty! One could also serve with hot sauce, salsa, sour cream, etc.

Time 25m

Yield 45-52 cups, 15-20 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 6

45 -52 miniature phyllo cups (3-4 boxes, 15 cups to a box)
1 lb sausage, browned and drained
1 cup prepared ranch dressing
1 1/4 cups monterey jack cheese
1 1/4 cups cheddar cheese (sharp and or or mild)
3 ounces chopped black olives (optional)

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients together and spoon into Phyllo cups.
  • Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 10-15 minutes.
  • Serve promptly as cups tend to lose crispness as they sit.

These sausage cups were good, but not great. I think I would have liked them more if the sausage filling was more flavorful.

I'm not sure what went wrong with my sausage cups. I followed the recipe exactly, but they turned out dry and bland. I'm going to have to try again with a different recipe.

These sausage cups were okay, but not great. The phyllo dough was a bit dry and the sausage filling was a bit too salty. I think I'll try a different recipe next time.

I was disappointed with these sausage cups. The phyllo dough was too thick and the sausage filling was bland. I won't be making these again.

These sausage cups were a bit more work than I expected, but they were worth it. The phyllo dough was a bit tricky to work with, but the end result was amazing. The cups were flaky and crispy, and the sausage filling was flavorful and juicy.

I love these sausage cups! They're so versatile and can be made with different types of sausage and fillings. I've even made them with a vegetarian sausage filling and they were still delicious.

These sausage cups were easy to make and tasted great. I used a store-bought phyllo dough which made the process even quicker. The sausage filling was well-seasoned and the cups were perfectly crispy.

I followed the recipe exactly and the sausage cups turned out perfect. They were golden brown and crispy on the outside, and the sausage filling was moist and juicy. I highly recommend this recipe.
