Yield 6 stuffed crescents

Number Of Ingredients 8

1/2 lb. chicken (or other meat)
1/2 chopped tomato
10-15 stems Cilantro (chopped)
1 stem green onion (chopped)
12 slices (pickled) jalopenos
1/2 cup shredded cheese
1/2 pack Taco seasoning
Pillsbury Crescent rolls (unbaked)

Steps:

  • 1. Cut chicken in small cubes and cook (following instructions on Taco seasoning's packet) 2. Preheat oven to 350 3. Open the package of Pillsbury Crescent rolls (one pack usually has 6 "triangles" for crescents) 4. Unroll each triangle, place 1/6 of cooked chicken, 1/6 tomato, 1/6 cilantro, 1/6 green onion, 2 slices of jalopeno and 1/6 shredded cheese on the larger end of each triangle. 5. Now roll the crescent (following rolling instructions on the pillsbury box) (you may think you have too much filling and not all edges may close... just roll as tightly as possible (edges will close automatically upon baking!)) 6. Take the 6 stuffed crescents and place them side by side (forming a ring) (on a butter-sprayed pan). (I used a pie dish... six crescents fit perfectly on the edges of the dish) 7. Spray top of crescents with Butter and Bake for 15 - 20 minutes, or until golden brown 8. Serve with more shredded cheese and Sour cream!

I didn't have any salsa on hand, so I used enchilada sauce instead. It turned out great!

These crescents were a bit too dry for my taste. I think I'll add some more salsa next time.
