Pittsburgh Style Chipped Ham Barbeque image

Growing up in Pittsburgh this was a sandwich staple. Anyone who grew up here and remembers Islay's -- this is as close to the original as it gets. Serve on hamburger buns or your favorite hard roll.

I'm not a big fan of BBQ sauce, but I loved this sandwich. The sauce was tangy and flavorful without being too overpowering.

I didn't have any chipped ham on hand, so I used deli ham instead. It turned out great!

This sandwich was a bit too sweet for my taste, but I think that's just a personal preference.
