Steps:
- 1. Place the oil in a large deep skillet. Add the Italian sausage and cook until no longer pink. Remove with slotted spoon and set aside. Add the mushrooms and onions cook until onions are softened. Add the garlic and cook 30 seconds.
- 2. Add the water, pizza sauce, pepperoni, tomatoes, sausage, sugar and Italian seasoning. Bring to a boil reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes.
- 3. Serve topped with Parmesan or Mozzarella cheese.
