Overall, I thought this recipe was good. The stew was hearty and flavorful, but the dumplings were a bit dry. I would try making the dumplings again with a different recipe.

This stew was a bit too spicy for my taste. I would recommend using less cayenne pepper next time.

I would recommend adding more vegetables to this stew. I added a cup of chopped carrots and celery and it really improved the flavor.

This stew is a bit more work than I usually like to put into a weeknight meal, but it's definitely worth the effort. The posse stew is a delicious and hearty meal that my whole family enjoyed.

This recipe is a great way to use up leftover beef and sausage. It's also a great meal to make ahead of time, as it reheats well.
