Add rice; cook, stirring, until edges are transparent, about 3 min. 3. Stir in chicken broth. Bring to a biol. Cover; simmer over low heat until liquid is absorbed, 15 min. 4. Stir in peas, and remove from heat. Let stand, covered, 5 min. 5. Stir in parsley, scallions, and almonds. Serve.
