Here is a suggestion from Trader Vic's Book of Food and Drink when you are looking for a bit of "the hair of the dog".

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 1/2 fluid ounces puerto rican rum
2 drops vanilla
1 dash nutmeg
1 dash Angostura bitters
1 cup milk
2 teaspoons sugar

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice.
  • shake thoroughly and pour in a 10 ounce glass.
