Steps:
- Combine dry ingredients. Stir in oil until mixture resembles course crumbs. Add milk and stir until mixture forms a ball. Roll half of dough into 10"x18" rectangle. Spread with 1 lb sausage. Roll up as for jelly roll. Wrap in wax paper or plastic wrap. Repeat with remaining dough and sausage. Chill for several hours. (I sometimes will freeze the dough at this point if I'm making them ahead. Or partially freeze it to make the roll easier to cut.) Slice rolls into 1/4" rounds. Bake on ungreased baking sheet in 350 degree oven for 15 minutes, until slightly browned. Serve warm, but not hot.
