1/4 cup minced red onion
1/4 cup finely chopped toasted hazelnuts (about 1 ounce)
1 tablespoon finely chopped peeled fresh ginger
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar

The scallops were a bit overcooked, but the hazelnut vinaigrette was delicious. I would recommend cooking the scallops for a shorter amount of time next time.

This dish was a bit too rich for my taste, but the flavors were still good. I would recommend using a lighter vinaigrette next time.

The scallops were cooked perfectly and the white bean puree was creamy and smooth. However, I found the hazelnut vinaigrette to be a bit too tart for my taste.
