SAUTEED TILAPIA WITH LIME image

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 1/3 lb Tilapia filets about 1/2" thick
1/3 C all purpose flour
Salt and Pepper
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 C dry white wine
1 T lime juice
1/2 T butter
1 T olive oil
3 Green onions chopped

Steps:

  • Rinse fish and pat dry. Put flour in a plate and season with salt and pepper. Dredge fillets, patting to remove excess. Combine garlic, wine, lime and butter in small bowl. Heat olive oil in large frying pan on med/hi. Add fillets and cook til golden on bottom about 3 min, turn and cook until opague in center 1-2 min more. Transfer to platter and cover with foil, add wine mix to pan and boil, scrap up cooked bits, until reduced by half, about 2-3 min. Stir in onion and heat about 30 seconds, pour sauce over fish and serve
