Shadows Holiday Dessert image

They just can't seem To get enough I usualy have to double it.

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 c all purpose flour
1/2 c butter, room temperature
1 c chopped pecans
1 pkg cream cheese, room temperature
1 c powdered (confectioners') sugar
1 c dream or cool whip
1 can(s) can libby's pumpkin pie mix (seasoned)
1 pkg lg. pkg. vanilla instant pudding
3/4 c condensed milk

Steps:

  • 1. 1 c. flour 1/2 c. butter, room temperature 1 c. chopped pecans Blend above like pastry. Pat into 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Chill.
  • 2. SECOND LAYER: 1 pkg. (4 oz.) cream cheese, room temperature 1 c. powdered (confectioners') sugar 1 c. Dream or Cool Whip Blend and spread over first layer. Cool.
  • 3. THIRD LAYER: 1 can Libby's pumpkin pie mix (seasoned) 1 lg. pkg. vanilla instant pudding 3/4 c. condensed milk Spread over third layer. Chill. Top with rest of Cool Whip and sprinkle with chopped pecans.

Not a fan. The chocolate was too sweet and the caramel was too runny. I think I'll stick to my old chocolate chip cookie recipe.
