Simply Great Pineapple Cake image

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 box lemon or yellow cake mix with pudding in the mix
3/4 cup vegetable oil
4 eggs, unbeaten
1 (11-ounce) can mandarin orange with juice

ICING:
1 (13 1/2-ounce) can crushed pineapple
1 (3 1/2-ounce) package dry instant vanilla pudding mix
1 (12-ounce) container whipped topping
1 dash of salt

Steps:

  • Mix ingredients in order given. Blend; beat with electric mixer, medium speed, for 2 minutes. Bake at 325° in 3 (8-inch) greased and floured pans for 20-25 minutes, or at 350° in 9x13-inch pan for 28-36 minutes. When cool, spread with the icing. Icing: Mix crushed pineapple and instant pudding. Fold in the topping and salt; spread over cake. Store cake in refrigerator.
