Spanish Oats image

This recipe was adapted from the Oat Cuisine Cookbook. I spiced it up a bit for a more southwestern taste. I fix this instead of Spanish rice.

I used almond milk instead of regular milk in this recipe and it turned out great! The oatmeal was creamy and flavorful, and the almond milk gave it a nice nutty flavor.

I'm not a big fan of raisins, so I omitted them from this recipe. The oatmeal was still delicious without them.

The oatmeal was a bit too thick for my liking. I think I would have preferred it if it had been cooked with a little more milk or water.

This oatmeal was a bit too bland for my taste. I think I would have enjoyed it more if I had added more spices or toppings.
