½ cup butter
1 ½ pounds ground Italian sausage
1 (16 ounce) package mushrooms, sliced
1 large onion, diced
1 cup chopped celery
2 cloves garlic, diced
1 tablespoon dried Italian seasoning

1 loaf bread, cubed
1 quart chicken stock

These waffles were a bit too dry for my taste. I think I would add more butter or milk to the batter next time.
