Susie Sunshine Cake image

This cake is so light and lemony no one will believe it starts with a boxed mix. The frosting (frozen whipped topping flavored with grated citrus peels) looks professional, but it's quite easy to blend. Fresh fruit garnishes provide the fun final touches.

I followed the recipe exactly, but my Susie Sunshine Cake turned out dry and dense. I'm not sure what went wrong. Maybe I overmixed the batter? I'll have to try it again.

This cake is a bit too sweet for my taste, but it's still good. The texture is moist and the lemon flavor is nice. I would probably make it again, but I would use less sugar.

This cake was a disappointment. It was dry and crumbly, and the lemon flavor was barely there. I won't be making it again.
