Tangy Ranch Apple Slaw image

Tangy coleslaw with a hint of sweetness. Diced walnuts or slivered almonds can be added just before serving. Add 1/2 teaspoon celery seed if desired.

⅓ cup sour cream
2 tablespoons granular sucralose sweetener (such as Splenda®)
1 ½ tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon dry ranch salad dressing mix (such as Hidden Valley Ranch®)
2 large green apples, cored and diced
½ (8 ounce) package shredded cabbage
2 green onions, thinly sliced
salt and ground black pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Whisk sour cream, sweetener, apple cider vinegar, and ranch dressing mix in a bowl until thoroughly combined. Toss green apples, shredded cabbage, and green onions in a salad bowl and pour dressing over the slaw; toss to coat. Season with salt and black pepper. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and chill at least 20 minutes or up to 4 hours before serving.
