The Easiest Butter-Pecan Kringle Ever image

Kringle looks like it should be really hard to make. And it usually is, which is why most folks buy their kringle from one of the Wisconsin bakeries that specialize in this tender, layered, butter Danish Christmas pastry. This version of kringle is super-easy. And while it's not made in the traditional manner, you'll find it just as tender.-Taste of Home Cooking School

This recipe is way too complicated. I don't think it's worth the effort.

The pastry was a bit dry. I think I overbaked it.

This kringle is a bit too sweet for my taste. I'll try reducing the amount of sugar next time.

I've tried many kringle recipes, but this one is by far the easiest and most delicious. The filling is rich and creamy, and the pastry is flaky and buttery. I will definitely be making this again!
