Categories     Salad Dressings

Time 5m

Yield 1 cup, 8 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 13

1/2 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons minced onions
1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon granulated garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dried basil leaves
3/4 teaspoon dried mustard
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
3/4 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup cider vinegar (or white wine vinegar)
1 tablespoon lemon juice

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients in blender and process 2 minutes. Don't skip the blender and just stir it or shake it, it won't be as good.
  • Chill at least 3 hours. It's best if you make it a day ahead and it just gets better with age.

Overall, I thought this dressing was just okay. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything special either.

I'm not sure what I did wrong, but my dressing turned out really bitter. I think I might have used too much red wine vinegar.

I made this dressing exactly as the recipe said and it was way too oily for my taste. I had to add more vinegar to balance it out.

This dressing is a great way to use up leftover herbs. I always have a bunch of basil and oregano in my garden, so this is a great way to use them up.

I love that this dressing uses red wine vinegar. It gives it a really nice tang.

I'm not usually a fan of Italian dressing, but this one is an exception. It's so light and refreshing.

This salad dressing is amazing! It's so flavorful and versatile. I've used it on salads, grilled chicken, and even pasta. It's always a hit.
