Turkish Grilled Cheese Sandwich image

I have never had Turkish food (that I know of) and this sounds simple but really good. The original recipe stated that you can use crusty bread or "berber bread". I googled berber bread and came up with nothing! This recipe is from a Canadian cheese magazine. Enjoy!

The sandwich was good, but the bread was a bit too hard.

This sandwich was a bit too greasy for my taste.

This sandwich was easy to make and so flavorful! I used a sourdough bread and it was the perfect complement to the melted cheese and grilled tomatoes. I will definitely be making this again!

I made this sandwich for lunch today and it was delicious! The cheese was melted and gooey, and the tomatoes were grilled to perfection. The herbs added a nice fresh flavor. I will definitely be making this again!

This sandwich was amazing! I loved the combination of the melted cheese, grilled tomatoes, and fresh herbs. The bread was also perfectly grilled and crispy. I will definitely be making this again soon!
